Sunday, March 10 at 5PM Join us March 10th as we raise our glasses together at The 2024 Awards Gala at Gateway Film Center presented by Middle West Spirits and Donna & Larry James and hosted by Film Center advisory board members Maria Durant (ABC6/FOX28 News) and Gregg Dodd (Columbus Metropolitan Library). The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 4:30pm with elevated hors d’oeuvres and one-of-a-kind themed cocktails. Chat with your fellow lovers of film, culture, and art, and commemorate the occasion with red carpet photos. And, don’t forget to finalize your predictions and submit your ballot for a chance to “Beat the President” in our annual ballot competition! The Gallery at Gateway Film Center will also be open for viewing throughout the evening. At 6:00pm, we recognize organizations and individuals who have noticeably advanced film culture in our community with the presentation of the 2024 Center Original Awards. The 96th Academy Awards ceremony will begin at 7:00pm, grab a serving from our custom popcorn bar as we cheer on the contenders, and toast to the winners. More special surprises will be announced at the party—including a late night treat—before the Best Picture Nominees are announced. Formal attire is recommended. Tickets are available for individuals ($75 each) and myGFC Members ($50 each). Awards Gala tickets also include parking validation (for the South Campus Gateway garage) and two drink tickets, redeemable for select cocktails, beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverages.
